Catering and Events Sales Manager
HC-Resource is looking for a Catering & Events Manager to take the lead on planning, selling, and executing offsite catering, onsite events, and private group dining for a growing restaurant group. This role is ideal for someone with energy, sales drive, and the ability to manage multiple moving parts across several locations.
We’re looking for a relationship builder — someone who can generate leads, close deals, and then work with the operations team to execute seamless events.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Drive catering and private event sales through outreach, marketing, and networking
Respond to all inbound event inquiries in a timely manner
Coordinate with chefs and managers to plan event logistics, menus, staffing, and service
Oversee execution of both onsite and offsite events
Represent the brand at community functions, local business events, and networking opportunities
Create floorplans, BEOs, timelines, and staffing plans for events
Track deposits, invoices, and follow-ups with clients
Collaborate with leadership to grow overall event and catering revenue
What You Bring to the Table:
2+ years of experience in event sales or catering management in a restaurant or hospitality environment
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable juggling multiple events
Willing to work evenings or weekends depending on event schedule
Familiarity with systems like Tripleseat, OpenTable, or similar is a plus
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
**This position is a base salary plus commission**
