We are looking for an energetic and experienced Sales Development Rep (SDR) to join a growing MSP in New Jersey and build and develop its sales force. This is a ground-floor sales position, meaning there is tremendous growth opportunity moving forward, with immediate income and long-term growth.
Job Summary
The right candidate is responsible for prospecting potential new clients and booking appointments for the Outside Sales Representative. This includes actively calling prospects over the phone, following up on our various marketing campaigns, social media outreach, email, while working under the direction of the Marketing Manager. Daily phone call volume of 75 calls or more. Must be very comfortable with spending about half the day on the phone. The main goal of the SDR is to set appointments with qualified sales leads for the Outside Sales Rep to further work and ultimately close new managed IT services client deals.

Responsibilities:
- Works under the direction and supervision of the Marketing Manager. The Marketing Manager provides the plans and organizes their day to be most productive with the calling efforts
- Establish rapport with gatekeepers while being assertive enough to reach a decision maker
- Responsible for booking 4 appointments with qualified prospects each month for our sales team
- Responsible for adding 10 to 12 potential leads each week into the CRM database
- Help to prep direct mail and other campaigns for mailing
- Assist the Marketing Manager in posting to various social media accounts
- Generate business and meet quota with prospecting activity and sales goals
- Maintain excellent records of key business intelligence with key influencers and decision-makers in our CRM database
Requirements:
- Must have the ability and desire to cold call, prospect and convert calls to actual sales activities
- A healthy competitive spirit will go a long way
- Adept in developing and maintaining business relationships with all leadership positions
- Is not intimidated when speaking with a C-level individual.
- Strong computer literacy, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and familiarity with the Internet
- CRM experience is required
- Familiar with IT services/Professional Services a plus
- Ability to work onsite in our Hamilton, NJ office
